Google Panda

Google Panda is a changes to the Google search result's ranking algorithm that was 1st released in 24th,February 2011. The change aimed to lower the rank of "low-quality sites" or "thin sites" and return higher-quality site's close to the top of the search results. CNET reported a surge within the ranking of news websites and social networking site's, and drop in ranking for site's containing amount,s of advertising. This variation reportedly affected the rankings of almost 12% of all search results. Presently once the Panda rollout, several websites, including Google's webmaster forum, became crammed with complaints of scrapers/copyright infringers improving better rankings than sites with original content. At one purpose, Google in public asked for data points to help detect scrapers better. Google Panda has received many updates since the original rollout in 24th,February 2011, and therefore the impact went global in April 2011. To assist affected publishers, Google published consultatory on its blog, so giving some direction for self-evaluation of a website's quality. Google has provided a list of Twenty three bullet points on it's blog answering the question of 'What count's as a high quality sites?' that is supposed to help web-master's 'step into Google's mindset'.
